| Several times a week, students practice making choices about their learning. Centers are set up around the room where students practice using materials we have learned about. This play-based practice allows students to explore materials using their imagination, creativity, and intuition. They generate true enthusiasm, authentic questions, and deeper investment in their learning when able to have some ownership of their work. | ||

| So far, we have learned about pattern blocks, linker cubes, arts and crafts, cutting and gluing, watercolors, scientific observations, sorting collections, and free book explore. Students are so eager to share their work from Choice Time! Ask them what they did today. | ||
