At Champlain, students study English, mathematics, science, and social studies based on the Common Core State Standards and Vermont’s Framework of Standards, plus participate in a top-quality arts and fitness education. Outdoor and culinary education thrive at Champlain, with an outdoor classroom, school garden, and a mobile kitchen for classroom instruction. Extensive, personalized academic and counseling services address barriers to learning. Staff, students, families, and friends come together for the annual Harvest Festival in the fall and Fun Run in the spring, plus to many activities in between, such as concerts, dinners, and assemblies.
